Stamped Concrete Contractor in White Bear Lake, MN
Stamped concrete is an excellent alternative to standard gray concrete. Serving the White Bear Lake area of Minnesota, we can provide stamped concrete services of all shapes and sizes at your residential or commercial properties.
Our stamped concrete photo gallery shows some of the common styles and color options on projects that we have completed. Choose from a variety of patterns, like Canyon Stone or Italian Slate and infinite color options, from gray through brown or green and beyond.
Stamped concrete designs are a great way to dress up a path, steps or even a driveway, but the most common use for this type of work is for patios.
How is Stamped Concrete Made?
A multi-step process is employed for creating these great concrete designs as follows. First the concrete has to be mixed and dyed, typically using an acid stain. We add accent colors as needed. Prior to stamping we need to wait until the concrete is semi set. Finally after the stamping has occurred and depending on the pattern, sometimes it is required that we manually "roll" the edges to remove the sharp jagged look.
Lastly, we seal all of our stamped concrete work with a thick heavy duty sealant to prevent damage occurring. Note: Stamped and stained concrete should never have salt put down on it in the winter, this will reduce the longevity of your concrete.
